  • Recently a large FB group changed its privacy from private to public. 

In less than 12 hours over 2.5k members had left stating that it no longer felt like a safe space. 

When the FB group admin was asked why they change the privacy, she replied “to attract more members”

24 hours later and after thousands of members leaving vowing never to return, the group went back to private. 

But at this point the damage was already done. Members no longer safe to post in the group. 

The trust had been broken. 

Growth means nothing if your current members don’t feel safe enough to stay.

A community’s strength isn’t in how many people join…
It’s in how many people feel supported enough to stay.

Her journey began in 2014 when she created #woofwoofwednesday, a community that grew to reach more than 7 million timelines every week and attracted brands like GoogleUK, MTV, Krispy Kreme and Channel 4.

Since then she has led audiences from a few hundred members to more than 25,000 and has become known for turning passive groups into communities that feel alive. Online and in-person.

And the truth is community has been the thread running through my entire career.

👩🏼‍💼Networking events for the business women of Bristol
💗To helping clients turn memberships and courses into places people actually want to show up and feel like they belong. 

Community has always been my thing. I just didn’t fully own it.

I’m excited to be here again properly, intentionally as the person who knows how to build communities AND who makes you feel like you’re part of one.
