Burnout forced me to rewrite my definition of success and I’m not going back!
🙅🏼♀️
I’ve been a little quiet on here of late and to be honest, I haven’t fully been myself on here for a while (years). 😬
After becoming burnout in 2020, some pretty bad business experiences and discovering I have ADHD, I’ve really come to understand how I want to live my life and run my business.
🍹I thought success was all about designer handbags and goods, sipping cocktails and 100k months.
👉🏻Because that’s what I’ve witness for the past 10 years.
✨ Now, I realise that luxury is waking up without an alarm, having your health, slow mornings and loving the work you do.
So, I’ve swapped pressure for being presence. Overwhelm for ease and flow. Urgency for alignment.
🚫I’m no longer looking left and right, comparing myself to others. I’m taking other people’s opinions with a pinch of salt and I’m no longer concerned about keeping up with the noise of the online world.
Not because I don’t care.
But because I care deeply and I want to build something that feels like me.
🥰 I want to continue providing the best service to my clients and always ensure they don’t feel like a number. To me it’s a privilege and a joy that they ask ME for help and advice and I want to be the best I can for them.
☁️As with all businesses over the years we have evolutions and mine is no more hustle, no to being busy for the sake of being busy, the endless pressure to ‘do more’ and to ‘be more’.
🌈It’s saying yes to things that light you up and no to things that just don’t feel right just because.
💔It’s not about breaking rules or being a rebel, it’s about creating your own rules that you can bend or amend at any time. Because it’s your business.
I believe you don’t need to sacrifice yourself to build a business.
I’ll be sharing more about what slow living in business looks like and how to build success without the sacrifice.
With love
