When comedian and actress Jayde Adams said these things in the video at an International Women’s Day event I attended this week, the room felt it.
Because she’s right and it’s something I’ve built my businesses around.
The most powerful communities aren’t built on follower counts or content calendars. ��They’re built on the thing Jayde’s describing, genuine human connection.

The question isn’t how to grow it. It’s how to make people feel something when they’re in it.

Red flags I see inside membership that have people leaving fast….

People join memberships to be part of something, a community and they also want to feel seen, heard and supported.

The secret strategy to keeping your members in your paid community for longer….
It’s something that I did when I was the community manager for The Members’ Club by Female Entrepreneur Association.
It’s a welcome call ☎️
Not a welcome post or email but a call.
Welcome them, introduce yourself and celebrate them being there.
Show them about the site or platform, where they can find the content etc.
Allow them to ask questions and connect with other members.
Connection=Retention
