Getting more likes and followers isn’t a strategy for your online marketing

I speak to a lot of business owners about their social media marketing and online marketing. One of the biggest mistakes they are making is having a goal of getting more likes and followers.

But then what?!

What are you going to do with your new followers and increase in likes?

They don’t mean anything unless you have a plan and a strategy.

First of all, you need to decide what you want to do in your business for this month and next month.

Do you want to sell a course, or a programme, launch a membership, or add people to your membership?

If you do, then you need to start creating a strategy for your content to support the goal.

This is why so many business owners fail to get the sales they want.

Throwing together content for the sake of posting on social media and then announcing out of the blue that you have a course isn’t going to land well.

A strategy is going to help you achieve your goals and help you intentional create content.

So if you feel like you’re throwing content out on social media like confetti at a Coldplay concert, it’s time to get intentional with your content.
